Application Description:

Mediaroom-RDVR iPhone application is specifically targeted to Microsoft Mediaroom IPTV Platform. This application provides functionality of displaying Electronic Program Guide with respect to subscribed channels over subscriber’s iPhone/iPad, for Microsoft Mediaroom IPTV Platform service providers without actual video streaming. This application enables Remote Digital Video Recording of Programs for subscribed channels.


Application Details:

Mediaroom-RDVR application is targeted to Microsoft Mediaroom IPTV Platform. This application is responsible to give User Interface to Electronic Program Guide over iPhone/iPad. Subscribers of IPTV service providers which are providing IPTV service over Microsoft Mediaroom IPTV Platform can use Mediaroom-RDVR application to perform Remote Digital Video Recording for program schedules.
Subscriber can enable, disable or remove Digital Video Recording to specific program schedule which will instruct component installed at Microsoft Mediaroom platform to perform respective enable, disable or remove actions on set top box available at subscribers end.
As a part of setting application requires :

1) User ID : Signifies user identification of registered subscriber of Microsoft Mediaroom IPTV Platform service provider.
2) Password : Signifies credentials specific to user authentication.
3) Service URL : Signifies Universal resource locator of component at Microsoft Mediaroom IPTV Platform service provider which will give data feed to Mediaroom-RDVR application.
